I’m Gamalan — a software engineer based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I build products at the intersection of sports technology and digital security.

What I build

My work spans a few key areas:

  • Email infrastructure — building and scaling email delivery platforms (KirimEmail), SMTP servers, and transactional email systems.
  • Security tools — developing access control and security products (Gatewarden) that help organizations manage and protect their digital assets.
  • Sports platforms — creating technology for sports communities and organizations (Plan Nakamuve, Naka).
  • Open source — contributing tools like caddy-tlsredis (Redis TLS storage for Caddy, archived) and mcp-email-client (email client as an MCP server).

Tech stack

I work across the stack — Go for high-performance services, Python for automation and AI tooling, PHP for web applications, and TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend and full-stack work. I’m also actively building with Astro, Next.js, and React.

This blog

This is my personal corner on the web — a place for random thoughts, things I learn, and everything in between. Expect occasional posts about politics, philosophy, hobbies, or whatever else happens to cross my mind.
